On March 2, 2020, the Texas State History Museum Foundation will honor Texas legends
James P. Allison and Edith & Peter O'Donnell, Jr. with the History-Making Texan Award. The award will be
presented at the Foundation's annual Texas Independence Day Dinner held at the Bullock Texas State History Museum
in Austin. Lynn McBee of Dallas serves as event chair, and Jan Felts Bullock of Austin is the honorary chair.

The dinner celebrates the state’s rich cultural heritage and generates support for the Bullock Museum, the nation’s
premier institution on Texas history. Up to 500 business, political and community leaders from around the state will attend
the event. Through the generosity of event sponsors, the evening raises support for the many educational programs
and special projects of the Bullock Museum, including School Tours that benefit over 100,000 students annually.
