On March 12, 2025, the Texas State History Museum Foundation will honor Texas legends
Michael Dell and Susan Dell with the History-Making Texan Award. The award will be presented at the
Foundation's annual Texas Independence Day Dinner at the Bullock Museum in Austin.
Jan Felts Bullock and Karl Rove, both of Austin, serve as the event Co-chairs and Julie and Pat Oles of Austin are the Honorary Chairs.
The dinner celebrates the state’s rich cultural heritage and generates support for the Bullock Museum, the nation’s
premier institution on Texas history. Over 450 business, political and community leaders from around the state
attend the event. Through the generosity of event sponsors, the evening raises critical support for foundation's efforts
to fund the many educational programs and special projects of the Bullock Museum, including
School Tours and Distance Learning that benefit over 37,000 students annually.
Advance underwriting opportunities of $25,000, $35,000, and $50,000 tables are available.

The dinner will be held the week of the South by Southwest festival in Austin, and guests
are strongly encouraged to make any needed hotel reservations before fall 2024.
