The Texas State History Museum Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization that raises private funds and promotes statewide awareness to support the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum. Since its inception in 1999, the Foundation has raised approximately $20 million to support a variety of educational programs at the Bullock Museum and has provided school tour scholarships to more than 65,000 students from economically challenged schools. The Museum is a dynamic, non-collecting educational institution engaging visitors in the exciting Story of Texas through a variety of interactive and traditional exhibit and media experiences, as well as dozens of innovative educational and family programs. The Museum strives to engage the broadest possible audience to interpret the continually unfolding story of Texas through meaningful educational experiences.
